Donations and Partnership Dues
a. All donations and partnership dues are voluntary and non-refundable except where required by law. b. We the People Bayou Community is a 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN: 87-3061377). Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by U.S. law. c. You will receive an acknowledgment receipt by email for any gift of $250 or more. d. Recurring donations or dues may be canceled by you at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. e. We reserve the right to refuse or return any donation or dues payment at our sole discretion.
Event Registration and Ticketing
a. All ticket sales and event registrations are final. No refunds or exchanges except: – If the event is canceled by WTPBC (full refund or credit issued), or – As required by applicable state law.
b. Tickets are revocable licenses; we may refuse admission or remove any person whose conduct we deem inappropriate.
c. Events may be photographed or recorded. By attending, you grant WTPBC permission to use your likeness in future promotional materials without compensation.
d. You assume all risks incidental to the event (travel, weather, personal injury, etc.).
Volunteer Interest Form and Volunteer Activities
a. Submitting a volunteer interest form does not guarantee placement or create an employment relationship. b. Volunteers serve at-will and may be removed at any time with or without cause. c. You agree to follow all safety guidelines, confidentiality policies, and instructions provided by WTPBC staff. d. Volunteers under 18 must have written parental/guardian consent. e. You assume the risks of volunteer activities and release WTPBC from liability for injury or damage to the fullest extent allowed by Louisiana law.
User Conduct
You agree not to: • Use the Website for any unlawful purpose; • Interfere with the operation of the Website (e.g., hacking, DDoS, malware); • Impersonate any person or entity; or • Collect personal information about other users.
